Frida Gustavsson can't possibly have a single problem in the world

You know what I mean, right? When you see something who is so unbelievably beautiful that you think they can't possibly have anything but an absolutely perfect life. Well, that's how I feel about Frida Gustavsson from Stockholm, Sweden. Oh and as if you didn't hate her enough already, she's only 17.
Enjoy. XXO.

The Lauren Merkin Sylvie Bag

Caught myself lusting over the Lauren Merkin bag again. It's just so chic! Simple, minimal hardware, gorgeous, neutral color.... Would it be ridiculous to spend two months of tips on a bag?? Would it make me a complete sellout to make such an excessive purchase?? ugh but I want it so badly...

soo perfect. XXo.

Shopbop's Ultimate Closet is Mine Too

Shopbop.com's new look book, "Our Ultimate Closet" features 13 selected designer (more like bridge-designer) pieces styled in 15 ammmazing looks. Seems that their ultimate closet is mine too! While I can only afford the pieces in mine dreams, a few of their suggestions feel like worthwhile splurges that I might be considering. I particularly have an eye on the long-sleev knit dress (called the Ava dress) by Elizabeth and James.

So cute all of it! and the model is adorable as well!

It should also be noted that the Lauren Merkin Utility Bag is also an ammazing purchase (coming in at a cool 495). I just have to keep asking myself though, however much I wear it, and however many things I could wear it too, is 500 dollars for a bag just waay too excessive??? That is the question.

Lastest Purchase: Menswear-Inspired Wingtips

I'm as surprised as anyone by the source of this purchase: Land's End! i know! Land's End, the affordable family clothing company recently launched a younger label called Land's End canvas. I highly recommend the site for cheaper yet still current fashions; you may be surprised by what you find there. They were even sited in GQ and have several of the editor's picks in the menswear section. For affordable American sportswear, there's now Land's End Canvas... XXo.
Women's Wingtips. Super cute and the best part: 89.99

Obsession: Shiny Black and Denim (with Red Nails of course)

Lately, I've been thinking about what I would want to be wearing if (and let's face it, when) I run into my ex. Yes, this is what occupies my thoughts. The latest obsession around the office (and now for me personally) is black paired with bright blue denim. The best interpretation of this trend: shiny black leggings (you know, that bizarro Nylon-elsatic blend) and a cargo-style denim shirt. American Apparel should be able to outfit you with a pair of leggings but for the shirt I would try to go vintage. While many modern retailers will be embracing this trend and carrying the shirt, a vintage finds always looks a tad more used, a little more cargo, and a whole lot cooler. Looks like I know the next thing I'll be looking for at Beacon's Closet!! XXo.

Want, Want, Want: Kimono and Red nails

It's no secret that I have a small obsession with Japanese culture, food, people, and language. For some reason, I decided recently that the sexiest thing in the world would be to drink green tea in my favorite armchair wearing a kimono and bright red nail polish. I couldn't begin to tell you where I got this idea but suddenly I can't understand why I never thought of it before.

Contemporary Spring Kimono

Vogue covers showing off the bright red nails I covet: the left cover being from September 1957 and the right from November 2008. It's certainly a timeless trend!

Camel & Chambray

Started by Chloe and now infiltrating everywhere, Camel + Chambray has become my current professional and personal obsession.

Looks from Chloe Fall 2010 show. Designed by the ever-wonderful Pheobe Philo.
